When anxiety lives in the body, talking about it only goes so far. Breathwork works with the nervous system directly — using the breath to move stored tension, downshift an activated system, and help you feel grounded again. Trauma-aware, paced to what you can receive, in the Babylon area.

How breathwork meets anxiety

Anxiety is, in large part, a nervous system stuck in a state of alarm. Conscious breathwork is one of the most direct ways to speak to that system — shifting it out of fight-or-flight, releasing the physical charge that builds up, and teaching the body that it’s safe to settle. Luca is an Advanced SOMA Breath Instructor, and his sessions are built around regulation, not intensity for its own sake.

It suits people carrying chronic stress, a racing mind, tension that won’t let go, or a general sense of being on edge — who want a body-based way to find ground.

This is supportive, body-based work — not a replacement for clinical mental health care. Luca is not a licensed mental health professional or medical provider. If you’re in a mental health crisis or need clinical support for anxiety, he’ll say so and refer you to an appropriate licensed professional. Breathwork can sit alongside that care beautifully; it doesn’t replace it.

What a session involves

A session begins with a grounding conversation — what you’re carrying, any relevant health history, and what the right pace looks like for you. From there, Luca guides an active breath cycle suited to your nervous system, followed by an unhurried integration window to let things settle before you leave. Nothing is forced; the pace is yours.

Sessions are held in a private wellness studio in the Babylon area, serving Long Island, by application.
